I had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. I booked a 20 passenger bus for my sister's bachelorette party in New Braunfels. I paid the driver in advance to pick us up from dinner at 8, take us to a concert, and then bring us back home by midnight. The bus picked us up from the restaurant on time and recklessly drove us to our venue about 30 minutes away. The driver swerved the entire trip, slammed on the brakes at stop signs, drove past the speed limit, and was texting on his phone. I made my way to the front and asked him to please slow down. When we arrived at the venue, he was kind and said that he would be waiting at midnight. I was under the impression that the bus was ours from the hours from 8-12. It was not. It became very clear that the driver was trying to cram as many clients into that time frame as he could. When our concert ended, I called to see where he was parked. He told me he would be there soon- that he was leaving Austin. Austin is at least 45 minutes away from New Braunfels in no traffic. At this time, the venue was closing and we were told we could not stay in the parking lot and that we would have to wait for our ride at the entrance. They turned off all the lights and 18 girls were left sitting in a dark parking lot in the outskirts of New Braunfels. A sheriff came to wait with us because he said it was unsafe to wait alone. I called the bus company again and they said that they were sending another driver, also leaving in Austin, but first they would have to meet up to get our things. It was now 12:45 and our bus had not left Austin. Our bus finally showed up at 2:15 to pick us up- almost two and a half hours after our contract specified. We were picked up by a different driver and finally made it home around 3:00 AM. I did not have words with our driver about the situation but decided I would contact the company on Monday. The company issued a half-hearted apology for our treatment but did not offer me a complete refund, which I had requested. The driver did send me a $100 check the next week for the time we spent waiting.
