Driver calls for a mechanic. An hour later, mechanic comes out and through the powers of profound observation, determines the tire is still flat. Sweet thx dude, we didn't know that. He calls for another guy who has tires. Tire guy shows up. But there's a twist, yes this dude has tires, but NO ACTUAL WHEELS. So instead of taking 5-10 minutes for a wheel swap so we can get moving, OR taking the 20-30 minutes to change tires on the rim, they proceed to screw around for another hour trying to find the leak, rolling this crappy tire back and forth in the dark with a flashlight and a bottle of Windex. And then give up. They don't break the bead and put a new tire on the rim - they just give up and put the leaking, crappy tire back on and say maybe it's fixed itself now. Seriously. These 3 dudes accomplished nothing and we're now 2 hours behind schedule to the party and they ask if we want to attempt the 100 mile drive to LA on the bus, since the tire 'might' be fixed?
