Online I read to arrive about and hour early so I did that and arrived just before 4pm. checking in was a breeze! simply show your ID and have your confirmation number handy! it's in the email they send you. After checking in they hand you a placard with a number on it which signifies the order in which you will board the bus since there is no assigned seating. They have a small waiting room with chairs and a tv so I sat and waited. around 530 the small waiting room was packed with anxious people and the staff finally announced that the bus was having mechanical issues so the 5pm bus would not be leaving. They informed us that we could come back and take the 11pm bus or reschedule for a different day. This was pretty inconvenient. But they did a good job of making sure everyone was able to reschedule. I came back for the 11pm bus and we left promptly. When I came back I checked in again and received a placard with the number 24. I was happy with this because I wanted a window seat. Well when the dude started calling out numbers for people to line up. He pretty much called everyone at the same time. and there were over 80 numbers. There was pretty much no point in handing out the placards with numbers if they are going to board everyone at the same time anyways. It was very unorganized and I was one of the last people to board and didn't get a window seat...pretty annoying. The bus itself was nice, it had electrical outlets and wifi. The outlets came in handy but the wifi sucked!!! The seats were decent and there was a restroom on the bus. The bus driver made 1 15 minute rest stop on the way and the ride was just about 6 hours long. Coming back was even easier. The bus pick up location in NYC is easy to find and we left on time as scheduled. The driver makes the same 15 minutes stop on the way back.
